About

Several months ago I made a once in a lifetime decision to commit to an epic bicycle ride in the summer of 2014. I will be departing Vancouver, BC on June 4th with a destination of St. John’s Newfoundland in mid-August. My goal is to complete the journey in 72 days – 60 days on my bike; 10 days of rest and 2 days on ferries!

To add to the significance of my bike ride, I would like to ride for a significant cause and to that end I have chosen a cause close to all of us – our primary health care centre … the hospital.

You can recognize my efforts by making a donation to The Georgian Bay Club Foundation, a registered charity. All donations received will be divided equally between the Collingwood and Meaford Hospitals. I have identified, through both Hospitals’ Foundations, potential life saving technology that is both wanted and needed! The link below will give you a full description of the benefits of the medical technology needed.

To donate, please click here. A tax receipt will be issued for the full amount of your donation by return email.

With your help, together we are making a difference …. thanks for your generosity and support!
